I refuse

I had someone tell me this year "you're not an artist, just stick with modeling."
I refuse.
If I woke up one morning and found out that I could only do one thing (between modeling, photography and painting) I would not think twice about it.

I had a whole diatribe in my head but when I started writing I got a horrible bout of deja vous.

But anyway.. I have 4 art shows this month, 2 in CT, and 2 in NJ. I will post all the details or you can read about these and everything else on [link]

is modeling not an art form in it self with out stunning models like your self their would not have been some of the greatest paintings in the world

Who ever told you to just stick to modelling couldn't have been a good friend. If you have a creative side the other side of the lens or on canvas don't stiffle it. I've also met enough models on here, and in the real world to know there is more a pretty smile.

art is something that you feel... as long as you enjoy it... do it. other people may not like your work, but screw them... because it's your work not theirs.

I'm sure just about every great artist had some asshole tell them they should stick to something else - ignore 'em. Doing what drives you is the one thing in this world we have to hold on to, IMO.

That's very true, but there is a huge difference between being a creative tool for some on else and creating your own work.
